The compact design begins with a 1/4" input and thru-put to feed the on-stage amp. This connects to the custom made Donner LAB-S1 transformer, which performs the impedance matching and balances the signal.

The 1/4" TS input connection is for unbalanced high-impedance musical instruments. The direct output/input (1/4" TS) connects the instrument to the on-stage amplifier or outputs the signal to a monitor amplifier. The input and output jacks automatically merge the stereo signal to mono.

The balanced mic-level output is via an XLR connector. A high-quality balanced microphone cable should be used to establish the connection. The ground lift (GND LIFT) switch helps reduce hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
